Announcement from English Language Center for "Kuwaiti / Non- Kuwaiti"

The Language Centre of Kuwait University seeks applications for the post of English Language Instructors for the year 2008/2009.

Required Qualifications:

1. BA degree with an English Major from a recognized university with a G.P.A. of 3.00 out of 4.00 scale.
2. MA degree from a recognized university in any of the following Majors:
- Linguistics (English Language).
- Applied Linguistics (English Language).
- Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).
- Teaching English as Second Language (TESL).
- Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL).
- Teaching English for Specific Purposes (ESP).
- Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL).

3. At least 2 years of English teaching experience preferably at a University Level.
4. The candidate must pass an interview which will be held at the Language Centre of Kuwait University.
